Dear Senators: Keep Your Promise to Protect the Filibuster!

On April 17, 2017, Senators Tim Kaine (D-VA), Jon Tester (D-MT), Angus King (I-ME), and Maggie Hassan (D-NH), among others, signed a bipartisan letter voicing their full support for the filibuster.

They urged Sens. McConnell and Schumer to leave the filibuster alone - they advocated against any and all changes.

Now these Senators not only support getting rid of the filibuster, but are also trying to persuade Sen. Manchin (D-WV) to join them.

These Senators need to be reminded of the letter they signed in 2017 and urged to stand by their own words. America is hanging by a thread and that thread is the filibuster. Please take action today to protect it.
