The SAVE Act is legislation led by Senator Mike Lee in the Senate and Congressman Chip Roy in the House. It would require Federal agencies to provide information to States upon request, which will enable the verification of citizenship status of applicants for voter registration. Non-citizens voting in Federal elections and State elections where citizenship is required disenfranchises legal voters. This Act should be passed and signed immediately.
