Speaker Steve Montenegro reopened negotiations with Gov. Katie Hobbs to kill the radical left's anti-ESA initiative by doing a trade for a bill to curb ESA's and kill the conservative referrals that rein in government schools' waste, fraud, and abuse.

Over the weekend, through our friends at AZ Free Enterprise Club, Congressman Biggs supported a plan to still hold a special session, but only on a 1:1 basis—kill the anti-ESA initiative in exchange for killing HCR2040, which stops school union members from auto-deducting their membership dues from their paychecks.

EZAZ.org evaluated the landscape and provided our members with political intelligence, which shows only the radical left benefits in the long run from a special session.

Additionally, school union leadership says they don't have the money to fund both their initiative and support for Democrat candidates in the election.

The left is out of money, out of time, and weak on signatures.

Their radical base will gain momentum from a deal. Ours will not.

We urge the legislature to oppose a Special Session.

Don't give the left the financial ammo they need to flip the state blue.
