Recently Governor Newsom announced the new guidelines regarding mask mandates for California schools and the alignment of the LA County Department of Public Health, with these new guidelines.

Citing the encouraging decline in Omicron cases, hospitalizations, and deaths since the start of the year, the Governor’s Office, the California Department of Public Health, and LA County Department of Public Health have announced that the indoor masking requirement will end at the conclusion of the day on March 11, 2022. As of now, LAUSD has not announced any mask mandate lifts citing that they will negotiate with the teachers' union. Take Action and sign the campaign to let LAUSD, We the Parents, do not agree that our children are up for negotiation.
