Americans want Congress to stop TikTok from siphoning private data to the Chinese Communist Party.

So what solution did Congress come up with? The RESTRICT Act–a bill that permits federal investigators to list you as a “foreign individual” and access all of your private data.

This bill was supposed to “Ban TikTok”. Instead, Congress is proposing new $1 million penalties for American citizens who the government feels threatened by.

That’s the thrust of the RESTRICT Act–a badly written bill that gives unlimited power to the government to spy on its own citizens.

TikTok does need to be held accountable for its data security flaws. Congress can do that without leading a witch hunt against the moms and dads of America.

Contact your Members of Congress and tell them – OPPOSE the RESTRICT Act.
