Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer just announced he wants to GUT Senate rules protecting minority rights. Specifically, he’s called on his fellow Senate Democrats to change Senate rules so he can push through a highly partisan and deeply unpopular election “reform” bill.

Wisely, no Republicans are going to vote for Schumer’s bill – so to get around them, he wants to gut the filibuster. But get this: when Democrats were in the minority, Senator Schumer himself said that changing the filibuster would “be a doomsday for Democracy.”

Schumer was right then, and he’s wrong now!
